But the Occupy Los Angeles camp is literally across the street from the main LAPD station, and they’ve managed not to shoot tear gas, beanbags, or rubber bullets at anyone. They’ve also not maced, beaten, or arrested anyone to my knowledge. I pass by the encampment a couple times a week and it’s always peaceful.
Oakland & NYC could take some lessons here, I’m afraid.
